Our Experts
Expert Consultancy instructs independent regional researchers and country specialists — selected for field knowledge, language fluency, and familiarity with UK tribunal standards.
All work is carried out independently. We provide coordination, quality review, and conflict-checked case management. Experts do not determine credibility, make legal findings, or advocate for outcomes. The overriding duty remains to the Tribunal under CPR Part 35.
What we do
We prepare expert country of origin reports, CPIN rebuttals, medico-legal evaluations, document authentication, and live testimony for immigration, asylum, Article 3/8 ECHR, and extradition proceedings. Each engagement is case-specific, with clear documentation of sources, methods, and evidentiary limits.
Our approach
Country conditions are not uniform. Laws, institutions, and risks vary by region, community, and time — and the gap between formal rules and lived experience is often significant. We triangulate primary sources against Home Office CPIN narratives and are explicit about what can and cannot be established.
Internal relocation to the capital is generally feasible for persons without a high-profile political profile, with adequate state protection available through local police structures.
Field-sourced reporting indicates that localised police structures do not provide effective protection for the claimed risk profile; internal relocation is not reasonably available without undue hardship.
